Program Options and Costs

All of our programs emphasize physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and educational development. Children receive medical and dental screenings, as well as both child and family learning about proper nutrition.

Pre-School (Part Day, Part Year)

Ages 3 to 5
Free to eligible families

Pre-School & Child Care (Full Day, Full Year)

Ages 3 to 5
Parent/guardian must be employed or attending educational/job training
Fees are low and are based on monthly gross income

Early Head Start (Full Day, Full Year)

Ages 6 weeks to 3
Parent/guardian must be employed or attending educational/job training
Fees are low and are based on monthly gross income

Home Based and Early Home Based

Birth to age 5, and pregnant women
Free to eligible families
Home Based Family Educators meet weekly with the family
Parents and children participate in group socialization time twice monthly in a Head Start classroom

Pre-K collaboration with the Lewiston School Department

(Part Day, Part Year)

Age 4 (child can not turn 5 before October 15 of current year)
Free to eligible families

Family Child Care (Full Day, Full Year)

Subsidized care offered by licensed child care providers
Ages 6 weeks to age 5
Parent/guardian must be employed or attending educational/job training
Fees are low and are based on monthly gross income

Child and Adult Care Food Program

The Child and Adult Care Food Program is a U.S.D.A. funded program designed to help Family Childcare Homes provide nutritious meals and snacks to children 12 years of age and under. For more information, please call (207) 795-4040.
